Figure Painting Class Day 1

I haven't taken many classes or workshops for a number of years. Lately I've found my self with enough freedom in my schedule to allow me to take the plunge.

It was definitely different working in a new environment. With out my usual creature comforts and working in shorter chunks of time. Figure painting from life is something I'd missed more than I knew!

Here are the results from the first session. I decided to stay monochrome since this was only a one session pose. Wish I could have gotten a little further. All in all though, I'm satisfied with my work from today.
